NCRI logoWhile the country’s economy grinds to a halt one sector after another due to the plundering and anti-national policies of the clerical regime, and provinces are shut down because of water and power shortages, the only thing that neither stops nor ceases is the regime’s brutal and mass executions, which Khamenei desperately relies on for the survival of his crisis-ridden rule.

On Wednesday, September 3, eight prisoners were hanged: Mehrdad Iravani; three members of an Afghan family, Ruhollah Hakemi, his 23-year-old son Nezam Hakemi, and his brother-in-law Allahbakhsh Mirjahani, in Qom; Majid Safari Hamedani, 35 years old, and Reza Aghajani, 39 years old; a prisoner identified as A.F. in Ghezel Hesar; and Valiollah Avazpour in Gachsaran.

On Tuesday, September 2, Bijan Hosseinpanah in Zanjan; Hooman Garavand, Sajad Sadeghi, Habib Ataei, and a prisoner identified as Naser in Ghezel Hesar; Mohammad Babaei in Sanandaj; Mahan Rashidi, 28 years old, and Yaghoub Derikvand in Aligudarz; and another prisoner in Bushehr were executed.

On Sunday, August 31, fifteen prisoners were sent to the gallows: Emad Qaedi in Borazjan, Ammar Hosseini, 27 years old, in Ahvaz, and Samad Begmirzaei in Ghezel Hesar. The names of the other victims were provided in a previous statement.
