
Iran: Widespread Activities by Resistance Units and Supporters of the Resistance in Support of the Provisional Government in Tehran and Five Other Cities
Resistance Units and supporters of the Iranian Resistance in Tehran, Kermanshah, Qazvin, Shiraz, Ilam, and Karaj carried out widespread activities in support of the provisional government. These actions included hanging large banners, distributing leaflets, writing graffiti, and organizing collective actions in support of the Ten-Point Plan and the announcement of the provisional government to transfer sovereignty to the Iranian people.
In Tehran and Kermanshah, massive banners bearing the slogan, “The Iranian Resistance seeks the establishment of a democratic republic,” and messages introducing the provisional government of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) were installed. In Kermanshah, a large banner expressing support for the NCRI’s announcement of the provisional government was raised over a bridge. Additionally, in Tehran, courageous collective actions were organized, featuring the slogan, “Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Leader,” alongside messages of support for the leadership of the Resistance.
Rebellious youths in Qazvin, Shiraz, Karaj, and Ilam also put up posters and wrote graffiti featuring slogans such as, “Long live the National Liberation Army of Iran,” “The Liberation Army returns,” and “The death of the regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, is the death of the religious dictatorship and the end of the velayat-e faqih regime.” Through these actions, they emphasized their unbreakable resolve to overthrow the religious dictatorship and establish freedom and the sovereignty of the Iranian people.
In various areas of Tehran, including Tajrish, numerous banners were installed on bridges and walls bearing the slogans, “Hail to Rajavi,” “The Iranian Resistance seeks the establishment of a democratic republic,” and “Congratulations on the announcement of the provisional government led by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi.”
In Ilam, there were numerous instances of graffiti featuring the slogans, “Long live the provisional government of the National Council of Resistance of Iran,” and “Hail to Rajavi.”
In Shiraz, posters bearing the emblem of the Liberation Army and the slogan, “The Liberation Army returns,” were installed.
