Pro-Shah thugs attack PMOI during New York Rally Against Religious Fascism;
One PMOI supporter injured, assailant arrested by police
The demonstration by thousands of freedom-loving Iranians in New York protesting the presence of representatives of the religious fascist regime at the United Nations provoked the anger and vengence of the mullahs’ and the Shah’s operatives against the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
The fascist band supporting the son of the Shah, not even capable of organizing a limited demonstration of a few dozen people outside the UN, sent several mercenary thugs to the scene in a foolish attempt to disrupt the demonstration by provoking confrontations. However, freedom-loving Iranians responded with resounding chants of “Down with the oppressor, whether the Shah or the Supreme Leader!” The thugs were ultimately forced to flee the scene.
Yesterday, on the first day of the Iranian demonstration, a violent pro-Shah hooligan, named Reza Ebrahimi brutally attacked a young PMOI supporter named Mani, wounding him in the face. The assailant’s savage assault, injuring the young man’s face, led to his arrest by the police, while the other hired thugs were forced to flee the scene. Mani formally filed a complaint with the New York Police Department.
Reza Ebrahimi is a close associate of the Shah’s son, and his photographs with the Shah’s son and his wife, as well as his presence at their gatherings, are available on social media.
