
The protesting workers blocked the main entrance to the facility, other workers did not turn out and many parts of the shipyard are closed down.
In the past weeks, workers in other Iranian factories and workshops have walked out over their unpaid salaries across the country including; Tabas Coal Mine Factory, Sarcheshmeh Cupper Factory in the southern city of Kerman, Jahad Keshavarzi agricultural factory in the southern city of Bushehr, Gavmishan Dam installation in the western city of Kamyaran, Siyah-Roukh Dam workers in the western city of Divandareh, Punel Factory of Pakdasht, Energy Company in the southern city of Asaluyeh, Aras China Factory in the northwestern province of Eastern Azerbaijan, Marvdasht Beetroot planters, Qadir Petrochemical Complex in southern city of Mahshahr, Pashmineh Baf Factory in the western city of Qazvin, Mehrkoupa Textile Factory in the central city of Isfahan, Navard Company in the western city of Karaj, Iran's Telecommunications Industry, Khorram Sandouq Nasouz Factory in Tehran, Hamid China Factory, municipal workers in Saadabad northern Tehran's suburb and southwestern Hamideh Township, and Avar-Dalir Konserve-sazi (preservative) factory in the northern city of Rasht.
The Iranian Resistance calls on all labor organizations and unions, in particular, the International Labor Organization (ILO) to condemn anti-labor policies of the Iranian regime and to support their just demands.
