
On Wednesday, Iran regime hanged five prisoners in southern city of Shiraz, the same source reported on Saturday. Another state-run daily, IRAN, reported on Thursday the execution of a woman, 30, and a man in the northern city of Qazvin.
The hangings, surpassed 185 the number of people executed in Iran since the beginning of 2009, indicating a 70 percent rise compared to the same period last year. Iran under the mullahs currently ranks first for per capita executions in the world. It also ranks first in hanging juveniles.
