Mrs. Rajavi has highlighted some practical actions to take vis-a-vis the Iran protests:

  1. The United Nations Security Council must declare the leaders of the clerical regime and those in charge of suppression of the uprising as criminals committing crimes against humanity so that they face justice.
  2. The world community must strongly condemn the regime’s Internet terrorism and assist the Iranian people to break this inhumane blockade. This regime only understands the language of power and firmness. The mullahs must be prevented from shutting down the internet in critical situations.
  3. The UN must urgently dispatch fact-finding missions to Iran to ascertain the extent of the number of the killed, the wounded and the prisoners. Considering that many of those detained face torture and execution, the dispatch of such missions has absolute priority.
  4. It is time for the international community, especially the European Union and the United States, to recognize the struggle and the resistance of the Iranian people to overthrow the clerical regime and support their right to resist against suppression and repression.
