New fiasco for the mullahs in Paris

New fiasco for the mullahs in ParisWeeks of efforts by official and unofficial agents of mullahs’ embassy in Paris to stage a demonstration supporting Tehran’s nuclear programs and oppose a firm policy against the regime turned into a disastrous defeat.

Today, no one but the regime’s embassy personnel in Paris and in UNISCO as well as agents of the Intelligent Ministry and their family members showed up at Trocadéro Square. Iranians passing by the rally left as soon as they realized the identity of the group.  This was despite the fact that the regime embassy was trying to use front associations to cover its real identity and put together an independent gathering.

In a statement yesterday, Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran had exposed the real identity of this demonstration.

On Friday April 28, the state-run website Baztab (which belongs to a former Revolutionary Guards Corps Commander and current secretary of the Expediency Council) had reported the news of this gathering. "Tomorrow the gathering of the patriotic Iranians near the Eiffel Tower will be held in Trocadéro in Paris.”  The gathering was sponsored by a pseudo-cultural front association that is affiliated with the Iranian regime and its Intelligence Ministry. Baztab added, “As a show of national solidarity, a number of Iranians in Paris have issued a statement, calling on all Iranians and advocates of Persian culture to gather at the Human Rights Square in Trocadéro.”

Ultimately, the so called “patriotic Iranians” turned out to be nobody but Jalali, the regime’s Ambassador to UNISCO, Ayyoubi, its cultural liaison in Paris and a number of Intelligence Ministry henchmen and terrorist and their families who had been dispatched to Paris.

One of the key figures at the scene was Ali Rastbin, a well known operative of the mullahs in Paris who advances Ahmadinejad’s agendas under the cover of pseudo-cultural front association.  The state-run news agency, IRNA, presented him as the president of one of the Iranian associations and quoted him as saying, “Any time that Iran has been in danger, Iranians have resisted the enemy in a single voice.”

The complete boycott of the mullahs’ sham rally showed how isolated those who take exploit of anti-war sentiments to help preserve this regime and forestall its overthrow.
