NCRI – In Pardisan Park and Hemmat Highway hundreds of protesters chanted “I will kill those who killed my brother”.

Brave youths set fire to the portraits of Khamenei and Khomeini with slogans of ‘Down with velayat-e faqih principle’ written beneath them. In Abouzar Boulevard, a State Suppressive Force vehicle was attacked by the youth using large firecrackers.

In Jeihoon Avenue a large crowd gathered chanting “Down with Dictator.” From the Karoon, Azarbaijan and Sattarkhan Avenues heading towards Behboudi Avenue, the youth used firecrackers and inflammable material to attack Bassij militia forces riding on motorcucles who intended to disperse the crowd. Hit and run clashes continued between protesters and suppressive forces in adjacent streets.

In the Salsalbil region, suppressive forces used tear gas in confronting the protesters. In Mehrabad and Sabalan Intersection the youth clashed with the disturbing Bassij agents, forcing them to retreat. Before nightfall suppressive forces stationed at Tehran Pars’ second square and the Mohseni Square began confiscating people’s motorcycles.
