Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of Iranian Resistance, in a message to the injured and victims of Wednesday’s earthquake in Varzaqan on 7 November, offered her condolences and prayed for quick recovery of the injured and emancipation of her compatriots from homelessness and long pain and suffering and of all calamity caused by the villainous and tyrannical rule of mullahs.
Mrs. Rajavi called for assistance from Azari compatriots, especially the courageous youth of Azerbaijan to rush to the aid of the victims and not to spare any effort to improve the lives of the victims’ families, especially the children, in any way they can. She blamed the painful condition of victims of Varzagan earthquake on the regime of Velayat-e faqih that has usurped the wealth of Iranian people and abandoned homeless people in the cold and nightmare of consecutive earthquakes. She added: Nothing less is expected from a villainous tyranny that is much stranger and foe than any other foreign occupant. Rescue of compatriots – as liberation of Iran and rebuilding the country – can be accomplished only by the courageous people of Iran and its children that have risen and it shall be so.
