Mrs. Maryam Rajavi condemned mullahs’ regime for taking Ms. Haleh Esfandiari and other Iranian-Americans hostage and called for efforts by international community for their freedom
NCRI – President-elect of the Iranian Resistance Mrs. Maryam Rajavi strongly condemned the arrest of Ms. Esfandiari and other Iranian-Americans by the mullahs’ regime. She described the baseless charges against them hideous.
Mrs. Rajavi reiterated that such arrests are a clear indication that policy of appeasement vis-ÃÂ -vis the ruling religious fascism and futile hopes of moderating the Iranian regime will not lead to any results.
She called on all international human rights organizations to press the regime for freedom of Ms. Esfandiari and other detainees.
