Preparations for the MOIS agents’ trip was made by one of French collaborators of the MOIS who had travelled to Iran last year. The dispatched agents were: Ruhollah Latifi Rostami, Zahra Sobhani, Mansooreh Karami, Nader Ganji, Mahmoud Navvab Motlagh and Massoumeh Eskandari. In order to hide their relations with the Iranian embassy, they contacted one of the intelligence agents of the embassy outside the embassy.
Since French Assembly representatives, mayors, other political figures and journalists refrained from meeting with the MOIS agents, their mission failed. They only managed to meet with three to four individuals who mostly refused to believe their claims against the PMOI and the Iranian Resistance.
Elements of mullahs’ intelligence participated in a conference entitled “Victims of Terrorism” while hiding their true identities. Fars news agency affiliated with the IRGC quoting Ruhollah Rostami, the so-called director of the association, wrote on the goal of the conference: “The association, as the representative of Iran and the Middle East on crimes of terrorist groups, especially the PMOI (Monafeqin)… revealed some information. Participation in this conference demonstrated that PMOI is a dangerous terrorist group.”
The IRGC news agency, quoting an agent called Navvab Motlagh wrote: “Constant correspondence of the association with other NGOs throughout the world is an important responsibility of dissemination of information. We need a good push to disclose the terrorist nature of the PMOI in Europe, especially their financial corruption.”
This front association for the Iranian regime Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) was established in June of 2007 under the name of “Edalat (Justice)” by a department in the MOIS dedicated to the suppression of the PMOI. The objective of establishing this association was to prevent the delisting of the PMOI from its terrorist label and to prevent PMOI’s extensive political activities in Europe. Directors of this society, all members of MOIS, travelled three times to Europe (Geneva, Brussels and Paris) in the past three years. Organizing exhibitions against the PMOI inside the country and meeting with ambassadors and representatives of a number of European countries are amongst other activities of these elements. To conceal its identity, this association recently renamed itself “The Association for Defence of Victims of Terrorism in the Middle East”.
The Iranian Resistance warns of the terrorist objectives and conspiracies of the clerical regime and the dispatch of its intelligence agents to France. It urges the authorities, in adherence to the EU Council decision of April 97, to expel MOIS agents from Europe and refuse them permission to enter European countries.
