Ordibehesht Execution Toll Reaches 168 — A New Record of Brutality and Savagery

Ali Khamenei, the tyrant likened to Zahhak with serpents on his shoulders, continues the mass execution of prisoners with unspeakable cruelty and ruthlessness. According to the latest reports from the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) from within the country, the number of recorded executions in the month of Ordibehesht (April 21-May 21) has reached an unprecedented 168 — and the actual figure is believed to be even higher.

On Wednesday, May 21 alone, 22 people were hanged. In addition to those previously identified in earlier statements, the victims include: Kavous Golshan (35), Ali Mahrami (40), and Mohsen Hesari in Zanjan; and Mohammadreza Dehghan Dehnavi, Norvis Achakzehi (a fellow Baluch citizen), Javad Rezaei, Vali Shahrbabaki, and Reza Beig in Yazd. On Monday, May 19, another 10 prisoners were executed.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, stated that the growing wave of executions in Ordibehesht reflects the regime’s deep fear of a popular uprising. These savage acts not only fail to preserve the regime’s grip on power — they fuel even greater public outrage. Mrs. Rajavi called on the United Nations to take urgent action to save those on death row. She emphasized that the regime’s crimes must be referred to the UN Security Council and that its leaders must be brought to justice.
