NCRI – At least 20 prisoners being held in Ghezel Hessar Prison in the Iranian city of Karaj were transferred on Sunday to isolation in preparation for their execution.

The repressive prison guards savagely beat and injured some of these prisoners who resisted and forcibly transferred them to solitary confinement. The prisoners were not even given time to bid farewell to their cellmates.

Additionally, on Saturday, seven prisoners on death row were transferred to solitary confinement in Adel-Abad Prison in Shiraz.
