At least 145 prisoners were executed during the Iranian month of Aban, including three women; one prisoner was killed under torture in Malekan

  • Three prisoners were executed in Hamedan just hours after the UN General Assembly’s Third Committee adopted a resolution condemning Iran’s brutal human rights violations.
  • Mrs. Maryam Rajavi: After 71 condemnations, the regime’s prisons must be opened to international fact-finding missions.

The bloodthirsty tyrant, Ali Khamenei, continues to shed blood, desperately trying to save the oppressive rule of the Supreme Leader from its inevitable downfall by suppressing the public’s rage. In Aban alone (from October 22 to November 20), there were 145 executions recorded, including three women. This marks an increase of 39 victims compared to the same period last year. One of the victims was under 18 at the time of the alleged crime.

On Wednesday, November 20, Amrollah Dehqani, 39, was executed in Shiraz, and Morteza Daneshvand was executed in Tabriz. On November 19, Soleiman Vaziri and Safa Hosseini were executed in Gonbad-e Kavus, while Ali Fathollahi and Ali Pashayi were executed in Khorramabad. On November 18, Khodarahim Popalzahi, a Baluch compatriot, was executed in Bandar Abbas.

On Sunday, November 17, eight prisoners were executed: Parviz Barahouyi, Rahim Faghiri, 34, and one other prisoner in Birjand; Faraj Sarmadi, 32, in Zanjan; Mostafa Mouladi in Khorramabad; Mohammad Bamari, 36, in Kahnuj; Shahrouz Aali Moradi in Ardabil; and Alireza Yarmohammadi, 22, in Hamedan.

On November 16, Sajad Karami was executed in Isfahan, and Mehdi Gilani and Mohammad Hossein Naderi were executed in Rasht. On November 15, Amanj Azizi was executed in Urmia. On Wednesday, November 13, 17 prisoners were executed, with the names of 11 previously reported in previous statements. The remaining victims included Omid Sheikh Kanlou Milan, 22, in Salmas; Salar Shalipour Zardkhaneh and Ali Abedini in Tabriz; and Iraj Ahadi, Mohsen Moradi, and Sajad Shoja in Qezelhessar Prison. Additionally, on Saturday, November 9, Kianoush Keyfari was executed in Lakan Prison in Rasht.

In another heinous crime, Ghafar Akbari died on November 16 due to severe injuries inflicted during three weeks of savage torture at a police station in Malekan. Malekan’s prosecutor Morteza Olyanasab and investigator Akbar Salmanpour prevented his timely transfer to the hospital.

The Iranian month of Azar, which starts on November 21, began with a series of executions. At dawn on Thursday, November 21, just hours after the UN General Assembly’s Third Committee adopted a resolution condemning Iran’s severe human rights violations, the regime executed three more prisoners in Hamedan: Amirhossein Rostami Pataghi, 23; Arsalan Habibi; and Jabbar Keyfari.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, stated that after 71 United Nations resolutions condemning human rights violations in Iran, the regime’s prisons must be opened to international fact-finding missions. Representatives of the Iranian Resistance are prepared to accompany these missions inside Iran to prevent the regime’s deceit and staged scenarios.
