Iran: Defiant Youth Carry Out 35 Operations in Tehran and 13 Other Cities, Setting Fire to Regime’s Repressive Centers and Symbols
Defiant Youth Respond to the Transfer of Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani for Execution and Support the “No to Execution” Campaign
In response to the transfer of Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani for execution and at the start of the second year of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign, along with the hunger strike of prisoners in 34 prisons, Defiant youth set fire to the regime’s repressive and plundering centers in various cities through 15 operations. These two political prisoners were sentenced to death by the clerical judiciary for alleged membership in the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and, after their sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court, were transferred from Evin Prison to Qezelhessar Prison for execution.
In these courageous operations, targets set ablaze included the Qazanchi garrison of the IRGC in Kermanshah, five IRGC Basij bases in Tehran, Isfahan, Hamedan, and Zahedan, five of the regime’s repression and plunder centers known as “Hozeh” in Tehran and Mashhad, two corruption and looting centers of the mullahs and the IRGC in Tehran, a women’s suppression center called “Hozeh” in Tehran, and an IRGC base in Kermanshah.
On this occasion, defiant youth also carried out 20 additional operations, setting fire to images and symbols of the regime’s repression and plunder. In this daring campaign, targets included a banner of Khomeini’s image on a bridge over Lashkari Highway in Tehran, two IRGC Basij banners in Tehran, two banners of the Ministry of Intelligence’s espionage headquarters in Shiraz and Iranshahr, a Khomeini monument in Sureshjan (Shahrekord), a Khamenei banner in Shahr-e Qods, images of Khomeini and Khamenei in Kazerun, and 12 banners and posters of Qasem Soleimani in Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, Qom, Lordegan, Sarbaz, and Iranshahr.
