Resistance Units Carry Out 116 Actions in 80 Cities

During the 100th week of the ‘No to Execution Tuesdays’ campaign, Resistance Units carried out 116 acts of protest and exposure across 80 cities in Iran as part of a nationwide, coordinated effort. These activities were conducted in support of protesting prisoners and their families, who have launched hunger strikes in 55 prisons.

In activities spanning cities such as Tehran, Karaj, Tabriz, Isfahan, Mashhad, Shiraz, Ahvaz, Rasht, Kermanshah, Zahedan, and dozens of others, the Resistance Units amplified the voice of resistance against the regime’s killing machine with slogans like ‘No to execution,’ ‘The executioner’s noose around Damavand’s neck will never have an effect,’ and ‘We swear by the blood of our comrades, we will stand until the end.’

The Resistance Units also honored the memory of martyred heroes Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani by laying flowers and displaying their pictures. They called for the immediate abolition of death sentences for political prisoners, including Mohammad Javad Vafa’i Thani, Zahra Tabari, Karim Khojasteh, and Ehsan Faridi. These actions underscored the messages of ‘Standing until the end’ and ‘No to oppression and silence.’
