Iran: 15 Acts of Resistance by Youth in Tehran and 11 Other Cities in Response to Power Outages Intended to Prevent Uprising

In response to power outages and the disruption of daily life, rebellious youth launched a series of operations in Tehran and the cities of Golestan, Kaki (in Bushehr Province), Khash, Shahr-e Kord, Hashtgerd, Gorgan, Bandar Abbas, Kerman, Kermanshah, Neyshabur, and Malayer, targeting centers of repression and plunder as well as symbols of the clerical regime.

Over the past week, repeated and unplanned power outages have severely disrupted everyday life, sparking widespread public protests—particularly among bakers—in Tehran and various other cities, including Shiraz, Pardis, Mehrshahr (in Karaj), Shahr-e Rey, Baharestan, Soltanabad, Shahriar, Darab, Kheyrabad (in Arak), Kermanshah, Abadan, Kerman, Gonabad, and throughout Khuzestan Province.

In these courageous acts of resistance, rebellious youth set fire to the following centers:

  • Khamenei’s Representation Office in Universities in Tehran
  • Two regime’s judiciary centers in Ramian (Golestan Province) and Kaki (Bushehr Province)
  • Four IRGC Basij bases in Tehran, Kermanshah, and Khash
  • Two government centers associated with plunder, corruption, and repression in Shahr-e Kord and Hashtgerd

Additionally, government billboards, banners, and posters bearing infamous images of Khomeini, Khamenei, and Soleimani were set ablaze in Tehran, Gorgan, Bandar Abbas, Kerman, Kermanshah, Neyshabur, and Malayer.
