Rebellious Youth Respond to Repression of Truck Drivers on Nationwide Strike Spanning 130 Cities in 30 Provinces
In response to threats, vehicle confiscations, and repressive actions targeting hardworking truck drivers during their courageous nationwide strike, rebellious youth carried out 15 coordinated operations in Tehran and 10 other cities—Mashhad, Khash, Saravan, Kahnuj, Hashtgerd, Gojan, Ilam, Birjand, Karaj, and Hamedan—setting fire to centers of repression and looting, along with symbols of the clerical regime.
Now in its eighth day, the nationwide strike by truck drivers and heavy vehicle operators has spread to at least 140 cities across 30 provinces.
During these bold operations, the following targets were set ablaze:
- Seven Basij centers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Tehran, Mashhad, Khash, Saravan, and Kahnuj
- Three government centers of repression and plunder in Tehran, Hashtgerd, and Gojan
Government banners featuring images of Khomeini and Khamenei in Tehran, Ilam, and Birjand - Symbols associated with IRGC intelligence centers in Karaj and Hamedan
