A Response to the Clerical Regime’s Unprecedented Executions and Killing Machine
In response to the wave of brutal executions and the unprecedented record of 304 executions in the Persian month of Aban (October 23- November 21)—the highest figure since the 1988 massacre—rebellious youth carried out 20 anti-suppression operations in Tehran and 15 other cities: Mashhad, Borujerd, Kermanshah, Meshginshahr, Shadegan, Shahinshahr, Chabahar, Ahvaz, Rasht, Bandar Lengeh, Kerman, Izeh, Dezful, Zahedan, and Nimruz, setting fire to the clerical regime’s centers of suppression, images, and symbols. This occurred while the regime, to prevent an uprising, had placed its suppressive forces, patrols, and plainclothes agents on full alert in many cities.
During these courageous operations, the centers set ablaze included:
- The IRGC headquarters in Mashhad;
- Eight IRGC Basij headquarters in Mashhad, Borujerd, Kermanshah, Meshginshahr, Shadegan, Shahinshahr, Chabahar, and Nimruz;
- The sign for an IRGC Basij base in Zahedan; signs for the IRGC Basij intelligence’s informant headquarters in Ahvaz and Rasht; and the sign for the Ministry of Intelligence’s spy headquarters in Bandar Lengeh.
Additionally, banners and images of Khomeini, Khamenei, and Qassem Soleimani were set on fire in Rasht, Kerman, Izeh, and Dezful.
