In response to the torture and killing of ill political prisoners—especially Somayeh Rashidi—by the judiciary, and the brutal execution of six Arab political prisoners, rebellious youth carried out 35 operations in Tehran and 18 other cities, targeting centers of repression, plunder, and symbols of the clerical regime.

These operations were conducted in Tehran, Karaj, Shahriar, Mashhad, Isfahan, Rasht, Kermanshah, Qazvin, Khorramabad, Eslamabad-e Gharb, Faresan, Azna, Qom, Sanandaj, Neishabur, Bushehr, Shiraz, Iranshahr, and Dorud, during which the following centers were set on fire:

  • 11 Basij (IRGC) bases in Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Kermanshah, Iranshahr, Sanandaj, and Azna.
  • The command headquarters of the repressive State Security Force in Faresan.
  • 5 government centers of looting and repression in Parand (Tehran), Isfahan, Azna, and Mashhad.
