Early this morning, Tuesday, October 21, on the eve of the October 22 anniversary of the introduction of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi as the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran for the transitional period, Resistance Units carried out a courageous and remarkable action. They patrolled various streets of Tehran with a number of cars and motorcycles, displaying slogans in support of the Resistance’s President-elect, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi. This daring act took place under conditions of severe repression and extensive surveillance and control by suppressive forces.
In today’s operation on the streets of Tehran, the Resistance Units held flags inscribed with the following slogans:
“Simorgh” [The name of a mythical bird used in the Resistance’s culture as a metaphor for the President-elect of the Resistance]
“We will bring Maryam Rajavi to Tehran”
