Iran: Schools around University of Tehran to be closed for use by suppressive forces

Student Day protest - Dec 7, 2009Nationwide uprising – Students Day-No 2

NCRI – Fearful of an uprising on “Students Day” (December 7), the officials of Iranian regime’s suppressive organs have closed down all schools and education centers in the vicinity of the University of Tehran on December 7, in order to station the regime’s agents there and counter student protests.

The move came in coordination with the clerical regime’s officials in Tehran’s Department of Education District 6 and was triggered by a secret directive.

According to the directive, all of the schools and education centers on Enghelab Street, between Enghelab Square and Vali Asr intersection, as well as on the streets of 16 Azar, Poursina, Italia, Qods, Keshavarz Boulevard, Taleghani, and Vesal Shirazi are closed on Monday, Students Day.
