NCRI logoIn response to the wave of executions — including 113 executions disclosed in the first 20 days of Mordad (July 23-August 11) and 1,571 executions during the presidency of Masoud Pezeshkian — rebellious youth carried out 15 operations in Tehran and 13 other cities, including Karaj, Sepidan (Fars Province), Khomam, Sanandaj, Mashhad, Isfahan, Kerman, Urmia, Shahr-e Kord, Behshahr, Chenaran, Delijan, and Khash, setting fire to centers of repression and symbols of the clerical regime. These actions were carried out despite tight security control, heavy presence of suppressive forces, and surveillance by security cameras.

In this series of operations, the following centers were set ablaze:
• Three IRGC Basij centers in Tehran, Sepidan (Fars Province), and Sanandaj
• A battalion headquarters of the IRGC’s 16th Quds Division in Khomam
• The judiciary center at the Beheshti Complex in Karaj

Additionally, government banners and posters bearing the images of Khomeini, Khamenei, Qassem Soleimani, and IRGC commanders were set on fire in the cities of Mashhad, Isfahan, Kerman, Urmia, Shahr-e Kord, Behshahr, Chenaran, Delijan, and Khash.
