Thousands chant in Tehran streets: “Iranians will die but will not surrender to humiliation”

National Council of Resistance of IranNationwide uprising in Iran – Statement 103

NCRI – Thousands of Tehran residents have gathered near Palestine, Jamalzadeh and Kargar streets since this morning. A large crowd is also gathered around Tehran University despite strict security measures preventing people from going toward the university.

At 11:30 am local time, people were marching in Enghelab Street toward Tehran University chanting: “Iranians will die but will not surrender to humiliation,” “Political prisoners must be freed”. They also chanted against Ali Khamenei’s son, Mojtaba, wishing him death so that he would not be able to take over the leadership.

Suppressive forces are trying to disperse the crowd with tear gas and violent attacks on people.
