Targeting the IRGC, Basij, and other repressive forces in response to suppressive measures against Baluch compatriots
On 2 October 2026, Resistance Units carried out eight daring operations against the IRGC and Basij in the cities of Zahedan, Rask, Iranshahr, and Khash in response to suppressive measures by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the anti-popular Basij against Baluch compatriots.
The centers and institutions of repression targeted in these attacks include:
- Setting fire to the 1st Battalion base of the IRGC in Rask
- Setting fire to two bases of the IRGC’s Basij in Rask
- Torching the directional sign of the Ministry of Intelligence’s espionage headquarters in Iranshahr with Molotov cocktails
- Torching symbols, banners, and billboards bearing the ominous images of Ali Khamenei and Mojtaba Khamenei by rebellious youths in the cities of Zahedan and Khash
On 29 September 2026, in honor of the martyrs of Zahedan’s Bloody Friday on 30 September 2022, Resistance Units had also carried out 40 daring operations in Tehran and 22 other cities against the IRGC and Basij. In the Zahedan Bloody Friday massacre, the clerical regime’s suppressive forces killed a large number of defenseless and unarmed people with direct fire, and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has published the names of 117 of these victims.
