Resistance Units Carry Honor Out Mirza Kuchak Khan with Activities Across Iran

On the eve of December 2, the anniversary of the martyrdom of the great popular leader, Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali, a historical leader of the Iranian people, Resistance Units carried out 50 activities in Tehran and 32 other cities. These cities included Mashhad, Lahijan, Astara, Rasht, Sowme’eh Sara, Fuman, Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh, Masal, Khomam, Langarud, Rudsar, Sari, Babol, Qaem Shahr, Neka, Gorgan, Behshahr, Karaj, Fardis in Karaj, Hamedan, Kermanshah, Sanandaj, Ilam, Dorud, Shiraz, Yazd, Isfahan, Arak, Ardabil, Semnan, Izeh, and Sabzevar. They honored the memory of this national hero by displaying photo calls, installing posters and banners, and chanting slogans.

Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali was the leader of the Jungle Movement during the Constitutional Revolution. Rising up against tyranny and colonialism, he is one of the shining stars in Iran’s history and ultimately lost his life on December 2, 1921, in the Talesh mountains.

Among the slogans on the posters was a quote from the Leader of the Iranian Resistance, Mr. Massoud Rajavi: “Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali, the great commander of the heroic people of Iran, is among the shining stars in Iran’s history who rose up against tyranny and colonialism.”
