Maryam Rajavi: the message of this cabinet, absolute repression, expansion of terrorism, final push to complete the occupation of Iraq and the atomic weapon proliferation program
NCRI – The 21 members of the Ahmadinejad’s new cabinet are comprised of revolutionary guards, terrorist agents, henchmen and torturers and those responsible for the suppressive machinery and the anti-nationalist project for proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Twelve of them are among the top commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) or paramilitary Bassij force.
Commenting on Ahmadinejad’s new cabinet, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance said: The message of this cabinet is indeed heightened suppression of the Iranian people, expansion of export of terrorism and fundamentalism particularly to the Middle East, consolidating domination over Iraq, and completion of the nuclear weapons program. Khamenei, therefore, completes the domination of the IRGC and Bassij force on all key and power centers. In the new cabinet anyone from the dominant faction that has the slightest disagreement with Ahmadinejad has been swept aside. The mullahs’ regime, facing the uprising of the Iranian people and rift within its leadership and internal crisis, has resorted to internal purge and surgery.
IRGC Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, nominated as defense minister; Revolutionary Guard Heidar Muslehi, nominated as the Minister of Intelligence; Revolutionary Guard Mustafa Mohammd Najar, Interior Minister; Reza Taghipour, Minister of Communications; Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini, Minister of Cultural and Islamic Guidance; Massoud Mirkazemi, Minister of Oil; Mohammad Ali Abadi, Minister of Power; Fatemeh Ajerlou, Minister of Social Welfare; Marzieh Vahid Dastjerdi, Minster of Health; Mohammad Abbasi, Minister of Co-operatives; Kamran Daneshjou, Minister of Science and Technical Research; Abdolreza Sheikhol-Islam, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs; are the 12 members of the cabinet who have been members of the IRGC or Bassij force.
