Iran: Mullahs’ Majlis speaker admits meddling in Iraq, warns of more terrorist attacks

National Council of Resistance of IranNCRI – Speaker of the mullahs' Majlis (parliament), Ali Larijani, admitted to the regime's wide scale meddling in Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine on Wednesday and said, "The Americans thought that by occupying Iraq they could build a tower of democracy in that land which would influence Iran. But the strategy of the Islamic Republic and the enlightened generation of today's Islamic world have created such circumstances that would have thrown the Americans into a quagmire where they can neither retreat nor move forward."

Speaking to a gathering of members of the "Islamic Coalition Party," Larijani described the terrorist groups in the region affiliated to the clerical regime as "Expedition forces to bring change to the world" and avowed with more terrorist activities. "If the West ignores the past experience and commits more miscalculations, then they would have to face such heroic people who have promoted in the region the idea of embracing death and crusade and spread the culture of seeking martyrdom (suicide). In such situation they should pack up and leave the region all together for ever," he said.

In another show of hollow strength to the US he said: "If you [Americans] continue treating this nation the same way as you did in the past, then what you are going to face would not be of a minor scale. If you make further miscalculations, then we will alter the situation in the region for the US."

In the meantime, Larijani appointed the Brig. Gen. Mohammad Jafar Sahraroudi as the head of his office and the Brig. Gen. Ghafour Darjazi as the head of the security for the mullahs' parliament. Both of whom are known terrorist who have been directly involved in the assassination of the regime's opponents in Europe and they are under prosecution in some European countries.

Remarks by speaker of the Majlis and his appointees in the early weeks of the new parliament, supports the view of the Iranian Resistance announcing immediately after the March election sham that Ali Khamenei, mullahs' Supreme Leader, planned to turn Majlis into the assembly of henchmen and murderers, just like Ahmadinejad's cabinet, to forge ahead unabated without any obstacles on the way to acquire nuclear weapons, export terrorism and impose the reign of repression inside Iran.
