NCRI – A member of the Diyala provincial council in Iraq has stressed that a small gathering against Camp Ashraf, where 3,400 Iranian dissidents live, had nothing to do with the people of the province.
Ziad Ahmad also denied Iranian regime claims that he had supported the gathering.
According to the Diyala council’s website, Ziad Ahmad also said he gave no press interviews in this regard. “Those who carried out this gathering did not represent residents of Diyala province,” the statement said.
