Necessity of intervention by international organizations
On April 8, the Iraqi military committed a crime against residents of Camp Ashraf at the order of Nouri al-Maliki, which left 35 dead including 8 women, and 350 wounded.
On Friday, al-Maliki’s forces brought a number of mercenaries of the Mullahs’ regime to Camp Ashraf pretending that they were residents of the area who were claiming their land. This group under the leadership of Jabbar Mamouri and others who have blood of innocent people on their hands, came to Ashraf to cover up the crime that they committed on April 8.
We, as the leaders of tribes, condemn such actions and ask all international organizations to urgently intervene and prevent another tragedy at Camp Ashraf.
