NCRI – The Iranian regime has banned a student newsletter for publishing an article on the case of death of blogger Sattar Beheshti, three month after its publication.
The ban on publication of the student newsletter is taking place as Iranian regime has been implementing repressive measures to prevent any public dissent as the June presidential election is approaching.
This is not the first time that this publication faces restrictions imposed by the Iranian regime. Two years they were complaints by the state-run daily Kayhan protesting the publication of the newsletter which lead to a three month ban.
The student newsletter ‘Biston’ published in Razi University carries news, reports on a variety of issues that interests the students.
