In a press conference held at the Iraqi House of Representatives, following a direct and explicit question by a foreign journalist about Spanish court ruling and the massacre in camp Ashraf committed by Iraqi army, Maliki became angry and interrupted the reporter’s question. Maliki said: “The Spanish court ruling is intervening in Iraqi affairs and violates our sovereignty; it is not important for us and we are not required to implement it.”
