Iran Starts Mass Cover-Up of Killings – ‘Regime Knows End Is Coming’
Iran is desecrating the graves of thousands of dissidents slaughtered in the mass executions that followed Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution in an attempt to cover up crimes against humanity.
The plot at Behesht-e Zahra cemetery in Tehran, known as Lot 41, contained the remains of political opponents of the Ayatollah Khomeini who were rapidly buried following executions at gunpoint or by hanging 26 years ago.
Now Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s regime is asphalting the area and turning it into a car-park. The move is being seen by many as a desperate attempt to cover tracks, and a tacit acceptance by Iran’s religious theocracy that it is facing endgame.

From Rome to New York: The International Protest of Iranians Against the Regime
Many Iranians living in the Italian capital also took part in the demonstration to express their support for regime change in Iran and for Maryam Rajavi’s ten-point plan.
A large group of Iranian opponents of the regime set out from Rome for New York. Together with compatriots living in America and other countries worldwide, they joined yesterday’s international rally to show their support for regime change in Iran and for the ten-point plan of Maryam Rajavi, the elected president of the NCRI, the National Council of Resistance of Iran. Rajavi declared: “Our message for the future of Iran is simple: the sovereignty of the people, the republic of the people. We want neither a mullah nor a shah. The era of all forms of dictatorship, both religious and monarchical, is over. We will not return to the past, and we have risen up against the current religious dictatorship.”
Protesters also denounced the ayatollahs’ nuclear program as “a real threat to global security” and objected to Iran’s participation in the UN Assembly, calling for sanctions against the regime.

Time to Be Resolute Against Iran’s Regime
By September 28, UN sanctions against the regime in Iran — those lifted after the 2015 nuclear agreement — could be reimposed. These include strict economic, military, and diplomatic measures. The background is, among other things, the regime’s enrichment of uranium close to weapons-grade. Such a decision would be a significant strategic defeat for the brutal clerical regime in Tehran, which has already been weakened in recent years. The regime has lost much of its influence in the region, and public discontent has never been higher. Iran is in an explosive situation.
The democratic resistance movement NCRI, led by Maryam Rajavi, welcomes the activation of the snapback mechanism. Rajavi’s ten-point plan for a democratic republic in Iran has gained broad international support — including from more than 4,000 parliamentarians worldwide, among them the majority in the Norwegian parliament (Stortinget).

Message by Maryam Rajavi, to the Grand Gathering in New York
The perseverance of my compatriots, who gather here every year in protest, is in fact support for the courageous youth and those who spark uprisings inside Iran. This perseverance is the Iranian people’s asset for victory. From Paris and Rome and Brussels to New York—where today you have gathered from across the United States—the message is the same. It echoes the voices of Tehran, Mashhad, Ahvaz, Tabriz, Zahedan, Kerman, Kurdistan, and all across Iran, as well as in the prisons and among the prisoners. The message is very simple and clear: Overthrow and democratic change—a democratic republic, with freedom and democratic rights. And today, our nation—together with you and through you—stands before the United Nations and declares to the world and all nations: We are closer than ever to achieving this rightful demand!
Khamenei Sacrificed Over 1 Million Iranians During Covid-19 Pandemic to Crush Dissent, New Information Reveals
A stunning confession by a former senior official in the Iranian regime has confirmed what the Iranian Resistance has exposed for years: the clerical regime deliberately allowed the COVID-19 pandemic to kill a staggering number of its citizens as part of a criminal strategy to prevent popular uprisings. This was not a public health failure; it was a state-sanctioned crime against humanity, orchestrated by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, that resulted in the deaths of over one million people. On September 20, 2025, Mohsen Mansouri, who served as Executive Vice President in Ebrahim Raisi’s administration, admitted that the death toll from COVID-19 had already reached nearly 700,000 by the end of Hassan Rouhani’s presidency in August 2021. This figure is more than seven and a half times the regime’s official tally of 91,785 fatalities announced at the time.
Families of Death-Row Political Prisoners Rally Behind Hunger Strikers in 87th Week of Protest
Tuesday, September 23, 2025, marked the 87th consecutive week of the No to Execution Tuesdays’ campaign in 52 prisons across Iran. Families of death-row political prisoners rally behind hunger strikers. This week’s statement by the campaign addressed the execution of Babak Shahbazi on the anniversary of the 2022 uprising. The statement read in part: “The brutal execution of Babak Shahbazi, one of the participants in the No to Execution Tuesday’s campaign, without allowing a final meeting with his family, stands as a shocking example of inhuman conduct and a blatant violation of human rights by this regime. His secret transfer from the ward for execution prompted protests and a sit-in by his fellow inmates at Ghezel Hesar Prison.”

The Trigger Pulled: A Turning Point for Iran’s Future
The activation of the UN Security Council’s snapback mechanism marks not just a diplomatic measure but a historic phase in the struggle between the Iranian people and the ruling theocracy. The activation of the UN Security Council’s “snapback” mechanism and the return of previous sanctions against Iran’s regime represents a strategic blow of historic proportions. This is not simply a matter of sanctions or legal provisions within a nuclear deal; it directly strikes at the political and ideological foundations of the ruling system. What the Iranian Resistance had long warned of has now become concrete reality: entry into the most sensitive and decisive phase of the conflict between people and state. From this perspective, the snapback is more than a legal instrument; it symbolizes the beginning of a decisive historical reckoning. It comes at a time when domestic and international crises are intertwined, placing the future of the regime under unprecedented strain.
