Iran: Truck owners protest outside parliament

NCRI – A group of truck owners gathered outside the Iranian regime’s parliament in Tehran Sunday to protest non-delivery of new trucks by the largest vehicle manufacturing company in Iran.

Six month ago the truck owner had turned in their old trucks to Iran Khodro Company (IKCO) based on a contract to receive new trucks.

No new truck has been delivered and the company is demanding some 15,000 dollars more due to decline in Iranian currency.

The protesting workers said the contracts have been signed long before the recent decline in value of currency and IKCO’s claim is unjustified.
