“Among the victims, many young people and adolescents targeted by the snipers of the Iranian regime. I denounce the violence and barbarity with which this regime has treated the civilians and call on the United Nations to send urgent missions to Iran to investigate murders, wounded, prisoners. We also call on the High Commissioner for Human Rights, who must demand that fact-finding missions visit the country, a few weeks after the Universal Periodic Assessment of Iran was held in Geneva as part of the Human Rights Council,” she added.
