Iran – Resistance Units Conducted 60 Acts of Image Projection in Tehran and 19 Other Cities on the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), Resistance Units carried out an anti-repression campaign, projecting 60 images in Tehran and 19 other cities, including Karaj, Qazvin, Sadra (Fars), Zibashahr (Qazvin), Abyek (Qazvin), Tabriz, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, Ilam, Yazd, Hamedan, Shahr-e Kord, Birjand, Ardabil, Lahijan, Dezful, Boukan, and Khousf.
This courageous campaign was carried out despite the clerical regime’s state of alert and under heavy surveillance cameras. The Resistance Units conveyed the message of the PMOI’s 60 years of perseverance and steadfastness by installing images of the Resistance leadership, the emblem of the PMOI, and slogans in streets, squares, parks, and highways, including:
- In Tehran: Javadieh and Tehranpars (Farhangsara-ye Eshraq), Mansouri Street, Naqdi Park, Imam Ali Highway (and Kord, Damavand, and Golbarg Boulevard), Kurdistan Highway (Qezel Qal’eh Park), Janbazan Boulevard (District 4), Safaie Street (Golzar Park), Marzdaran Boulevard (Goldis Street), Sadra Boulevard, Nastaran Street, Golha Street, and Niavaran Highway.
- In Qazvin: Tabriz Street and Amir Kabir Boulevard.
- In Karaj (Alborz Province): Golshahr (Western Golzar Boulevard), Shahrak-e Eram, Roz Street, Kamalshahr (Azadegan Park and Imam Sadegh Boulevard), Marlík (Alborz), Sousan-e Gharbi Street.
- In Tabriz: Tooba Boulevard, South Nasr.
- In Mashhad: Babanazar Highway (Vahid Street), Cheraghchi Boulevard.
- In Isfahan: Seyyed Razi Boulevard, Atashgah Boulevard.
- In Shiraz (Sadra, Fars): Golestan Town (Dehkhoda Boulevard), Ferdowsi Boulevard.
- In Ilam: Western Beltway, Behesht-e Reza.
- In Yazd: Modarres Boulevard.
- In Hamedan: Western Isar Street.
- In Shahr-e Kord: Keshavarz Boulevard.
- In Birjand: Elahiyeh Street, Baqiyatollah Boulevard, Amiriyyeh (Valiasr Street).
- In Ardabil: Razi Street, Basat Park (Sadaf Street).
- In Lahijan: Imam Reza Boulevard.
- In Dezful: Valiasr Boulevard.
- In Boukan: Kobani Bridge.
- In Khousf (South Khorasan): Ebn-e Hesam Street.
The slogans included: “The People’s Mojahedin means 60 years of neither Shah nor mullahs,” “Hail to Rajavi,” “Our choice is Maryam Rajavi,” “The People’s Mojahedin guarantee freedom and popular sovereignty,” “Forward to uprising, overthrow, and democratic revolution,” “Women are the force of change,” “Tomorrow’s free Iran guaranteed by the Ten-Point Plan,” “No to compulsory hijab, no to compulsory religion, no to compulsory rule,” “A century of crimes by monarchy and velayat-e faqih,” “We want neither Shah nor mullah; down with dictators,” “A hundredfold battle and maximum defiance,” “Glory to the 60th anniversary of the founding of the PMOI,” and “Death to the oppressor, be it Shah or Leader.”
