NCRI, BRUSSELS, November 7 – Thousands of Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance began their rally in Brussels this morning with speakers coming from parliaments across Europe.
Parliamentarians and other dignitaries addressing the rally joined in one clear demand, remove the shameful terror tag on the Iranian Resistance, namely the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, let the Iranian people to bring freedom and democracy to their homeland.
NCRI, BRUSSELS, November 7 – Thousands of Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance began their rally in Brussels this morning with speakers coming from parliaments across Europe.
Parliamentarians and other dignitaries addressing the rally joined in one clear demand, remove the shameful terror tag on the Iranian Resistance, namely the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, let the Iranian people to bring freedom and democracy to their homeland.
Lord Corbett of Castle Vale called on the EU Ministers meeting in Brussels to end the policy of appeasement with the clerical regime which has had disastrous consequences for Iran and world security.
He quoted Tony Blair, the Prime Minister, who blamed the Iranian regime and its president Ahmadinejad of advocating terrorism and urged the EU to de-proscribe the PMOI as the main opposition organization in Iran. Lord Corbett reiterated that this demand enjoys the support of parliamentary majorities in Britain and many other countries including the U.S. Congress.

Participants in the rally have come from across Europe, North America and Australia are here today in a strong show of solidarity with their compatriots inside Iran and the resistance movement and the PMOI striving to free the country from the mullahs’ medieval regime.
