Linda Chavez, Chair of the Center for Equal Opportunity and former Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison recently shared her extensive insights on Iran’s future in an exclusive interview. On the program, Mrs. Chavez discussed her early encounters with the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), particularly highlighting her engagement with their representatives at the United Nations. She expressed solidarity with their cause, particularly their advocacy against repression in Iran, especially towards women.

Reflecting on her re-engagement with the NCRI in 2012-2013, the former White House official recounted attending a women’s conference where she had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the NCRI.

Mrs. Chavez also discussed Mrs. Rajavi’s leadership qualities, describing her as a charismatic leader who inspires hope and mobilizes support both within the Iranian diaspora and inside Iran itself. She underscored the importance of Mrs. Rajavi’s vision for a free Iran, emphasizing the need for democratic governance and the protection of basic freedoms.

Furthermore, Mrs. Chavez commented on recent developments in Iran, including the news of the death of Ebrahim. Raisi, the president of the Iranian regime. She also reflected on the sacrifices made by Iranians, particularly women, in their ongoing struggle for fundamental rights and democratic governance.
