NCRI – In an interview with the EuroNews TV network, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, Prestident-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, emphasized that the religious dictatorship in Iran was a threat to the whole world due to its pursuit of atomic bomb and that for this reason tougher sanctions must be imposed on it.
Euronews added, "Rajavi is a woman who creates crisis."
At the beginning of this week Maryam Rajavi was invited to speak to the Council of Europe. Her visit was considered as a challenge by the speaker of the Iranian regime’s Parliament, Haddad Adel, who cancelled his schedulled visit to the Council of Europe at the last minute on Thursday.
EuroNews said Mrs. Rajavi’s speeches were frank and open and that she called on the United Nations to adopt expeditious economic sanctions against Ahmadinejad’s regime.
