IRAN PROTESTS:

Taxi drivers of Seiro Safar Co, who work for Tehran’s Khomeini International Airport, went on strike today outside the company headquarters in Tehran.

Iranian youth and supporters of the long-standing Opposition Movement, NCRI is out rallying in the Netherlands as they approach ever close to  Free Iran 2020

IRAN’S SHAM ELECTION NEWS:

Infighting over a greater share of power has left 5 injured.

Based on reports from the regime’s media outlets, the infighting over who will have a greater share of power in the upcoming “parliamentary election” led to 5 of the Basiji thugs injured during an attack by rivals to their office, on the first day of their one week campaign before the “election”. The attackers had used knives and had injured 5 who were working at the rival’s office, while 2 were transferred to a hospital.

Similar cases of infighting and even using live ammunition have been reported in other areas, such as in Pol-Dokhtar in West Iran.

PEOPLE ATTACK A MEMBER OF THE IRANIAN REGIME’S PARLIAMENT WITH SNOWBALLS

The angry people of Shanderman (Northern Iran) attacked a member of the regime’s parliament when he tried to visit the district three days after a snowstorm that had caused severe damage to the area, report local MEK sources.

On Thursday, February 13, 2020, protesting the inaction and carelessness of local authorities during the heavy snowstorm in the northern region of the country, the angry people of Shanderman district in the province of Gilan, attacked the regime’s MP with snowballs, forcing him to leave the town.

PROTEST GATHERING IN THE NORTHERN CITY OF LAHIJAN

The MEK network inside Iran is reporting many cases of protests against the long term power disconnection, due to a snowstorm in Northern Iran, and the lack of management of the emergency services for the people of the region.

On Wednesday, February 12th, 2020, a group of people held a protest gathering before the Power Dept.’s building in Lahijan, (a major city in Northern Iran) objecting to the regime’s inaction.

A citizen protesting the unbearable conditions due to the heavy snow and low temperatures, complained: “there are no sufficient facilities in Lahijan and Rasht, (the capital of Gilan). There is not enough water and electricity here.”

“Only one out of every four bakeries is working and we are here to protest this situation,” he added.

ANGRY FARMERS HOLD A GATHERING

On Thursday, February 13th, 2020, a group of farmers in South-Roudbar, Southern Province of Kerman, held a gathering before the governorate building, protesting the high cost of producing their crops and lack of any support from the local government.

The cost of production severely reduces their profit and they are unable to make a living. To show their desperation, the angry farmers dumped their products in front of the governorate’s office and run over their products with their vehicles.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Saturday, February 15, 2020, marks the 93rd day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 724 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
