What do we really mean when we speak of the critical role played by our courageous sisters and daughters in the uprising in November? Why did they take to the streets? Why did they sacrifice their lives?

I call on the World Health Organization to document all the facts and figures on the extent of the  Coronavirus in  Iran and put it at the disposal of the public and relevant international organizations to save the lives of the people of Iran and other countries.

I hail the resistance of our courageous sisters and daughters in the ranks of Resistance Units. I hail the admirable perseverance of our female political prisoners. And I call on you, my dear sisters, to expand your efforts in support of the uprisings and Resistance Units.

Regime’s cover-up, deception causing the spread of catastrophe

Based on reports from inside Iran, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced that the number of those who have lost their lives due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) exceeds 300. In Qom at least 114, in Tehran 30, in Kashan 22, in Isfahan 21, in Rasht 18, and in Arak 12 people have died so far. The virus has spread to all 31 provinces.

Moreover, in Mashhad, Kermanshah, Karaj, Lahijan, Semnan, Bandar Abbas, Yazd, Ilam, Yassouj, Khorramabad, Neyshabour, Hamedan, Homayounshahr, Najafabad, and many other large and small towns several residents have lost their lives. Nevertheless, by engaging in cover-up and deception, the clerical regime continues to claim that 34 have died and 388 have contracted the virus.

Iranian regime’s inaction, secrecy on devastating floods

February 28, 2020—Heavy rainfalls in 14 provinces is the latest disaster following the coronavirus outbreak across Iran, earthquakes in the northwest and south-central Iran, and a locust invasion in the country’s southern provinces. All of this has brought further suffering and tiredness for the poor people of Iran. Each of these disasters is multiplied under the suppressive and corrupt mullahs’ dictatorship and It increases the people’s difficulties.

According to state-run media, roads to hundreds of cities and villages are blocked, and electricity and drinking water are cut off in many other areas. The city gas feed in some districts is completely out of service.

The deception and lies by the Iranian regime in announcing the real number of COVID-19 deaths revealed even by the regime’s officials.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Saturday, February 29, 2020, marks the 107th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
