The Chairman of the National Council of Resistance of Iran’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin, on Friday commended the government of Lithuania for recognizing Hezbollah as a terrorist organization.
NCRI Foreign Affairs Committee chair Mohammad Mohaddessin described Lebanese Hizballah as a “conduit for the mullahs’ crimes in the region.”
He said the group, which is backed by Iran’s regime, “threatens innocent lives across the Middle East, Europe and beyond.”
“I call on all European countries to follow suit in blacklisting Hezbollah,” Mohaddessin said.

Lithuania on Thursday barred affiliates of Hezbollah from entering the country for the next ten years.
“Having taken into consideration the information acquired by our institutions and partners, we may conclude that ‘Hezbollah’ uses terrorist means that pose threat to the security of a significant number of countries, including Lithuania,” said Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius.
“We stand together with the United States of America, Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands, as well as other countries that had reached the same conclusion,” Foreign Minister Linkevicius said.
The decision made by the Migration Department of the Republic of Lithuania was based on the information on the listed persons’ activities within Hezbollah posing threat to Lithuanian national security interests, the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
