NCRI – On the last day of registration for the Iranian regime’s sham election Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, a former president of Iranian regime and Esfandiar Rahim Mashaie, an ally of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad registered on Saturday, the state-run media reported.
Esfandiar Rahim Mashaie, Ahmadinejad’s former chief of staff, has been accused by Ali Khamenei’s faction as leading a “deviant current.”
Hashemi Rafsanjani registered minutes before the expiry of the deadline for candidates to declare.
