Head of Iran’s Public Health System: 12,000 unemployed physicians in Iran

NCRI – As result of devastating policies by Mullahs regime and ever-increasing unemployment, Acting Director of the Iran’s Public Health System said there are 12,000 unemployed general physicians, the state-run Khabar Online reported on May 6

Alireza Zali, head of the regime’s Public Health said: “Two thirds of the obstetricians are unemployed and 12,000 general physicians are either unemployed or are working in a field other than their own.”

He said: “…The issue of unemployment is not restricted to the physicians only, it also applies to pharmaceuticals and laboratory sciences.

Regarding Ahmadinejad’s lies and fabrications about paying subsidies, Zali said: “The plan was to allocate 10% of the income gained from elimination of subsidies to the health sector; that would have been more than $5 billion, but that didn’t happen…”
