NCRI – The United States has said that the Iranian regime sends armsto terrorist groups in Iraq.
US Defense Secretary Robert Gates told CNN in an interview that those responsible for the killing of American servicemen in Iraq are extremist groups inside the country and not al-Qaeda.
Mr. Gates added that these groups clearly receive relatively sophisticated and powerful weapons from the Iranian regime. He expressed concern about the regime’s meddling in the country.
He said the US is taking steps to limit these threats.
