NCRI – Thousands of people in Iraqi city of Karbala held a demonstration against Maliki’s government and its special forces, the ‘SWAT’ for killing the soccer coach of this city.
The demonstrators marched towards the City Council. They demanded investigation on the murder of Karbala’s soccer coach, establishment of an investigation delegation and the withdrawal of Maliki’s troops from the city.
The demonstrators chanted on Thursday: “We don’t want this government. We want a national government. Karbala has turned into a prison and military base and we are its prisoners”.
