NCRI – The commander-in-chief of the Iranian regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has expressed concerns about the future announcement of a tribunal tasked with investigating the assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri.
According to the state-run Fars news agency on Tuesday, Mohammad Ali Jafari said, “In this case, we saw the awareness of Hezbollah officials and the people of Lebanon. They defeated the enemy.”
Concerned that the tribunal would find the regime’s Supreme Leader and its extraterritorial terrorist Qods Force involved in the assassination, Jafari added, “The enemy is trying to create a negative atmosphere since the attitudes and characteristics [of Hezbollah] mirror the IRGC’s, especially as it relates to religion and politics.”
