NCRI – Deputy chief of operations of the US Central Command in the Middle East, Brig. General Mark Kimmitt said: “Iranian weapon’s are acting against the stability in Iraq."
In an interview with Al-Arabia Television, when asked whether Iran is arming Shiite militias in Iraq, Gen. Kimmitt replied: "We have seen that Iranian weapons entering Iraq, we have also seen the presence of Iranian intelligence ministry elements in Iraq which causes a deep concern for us."
He added: "Iranian regime and its weapons are working towards the instability in Iraq… We think that the Iraqis must act on this issue."
