NCRI – At least 137 laborers in Tehran have lost their lives in the past five months as a result of accidents at their places of work.

The general coroner’s office in Tehran said that one woman was among those killed in work accidents due to unsafe working conditions.

Common causes of accidental deaths at work places in Iran include falling from heights, being struck by hard objects, fires, and lack of oxygen.

The latest such accidental death came on Saturday when a 21-year-old Afghan worker died at a construction site west of Tehran when the building’s roof came down and he was buried under the rubble.
