The Resistance Unit chants:
Down with Khamenei, Down with Raisi, hail to Rajavi
In the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 11, 2021, a Resistance Unit, consisting of supporters of the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK/PMOI), in Yasuj (Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad) set fire to the statue of Qassem Soleimani, the eliminated commander of the terrorist Quds Force in the main square of the city. The act was in support of the Junqan people’s protest yesterday. The Resistance unit chanted, ‘Down with Khamenei, down with (Ebrahim) Raisi, hail to Rajavi.” The statue was installed a few months ago and was highly detested by the people of the city.
The torching of this statue, which took place despite the intensified security situation in the cities, was welcomed by the local people.
